Morning
Begin the day with a fine line-reducing breakfast: berries and yogurt. Berries have antioxidants that protect skin, and they also contain flavonoids, vitamins, polyphenols, and probiotics. Natural, unprocessed yogurt contains probiotics that are great for your skin. With your yogurt and berries, drink a cup of green tea—it’s chock-full of antioxidants that protect your skin from damaging free radicals.
After breakfast, it’s time to begin a skin routine that will reduce fine lines. Start by putting on your anti-aging cream. This cream contains moisturizers and nutrients that will make your skin look great, and the cream will prevent wrinkles. Anti-aging cream is the most important part of an aging skin routine.
If you’re planning on wearing makeup, be sure to choose products that will hydrate your skin. Do not use powdery concealers or any products with alcohol. Always pick moisturizing and hydrating make-up products.
Afternoon
If it’s warm outside, be sure to put on sunscreen during the hottest part of the day. UV rays can severely damage your skin, and they’re the number one cause of premature wrinkles. Try to wear sunscreen that has both UVA and UVB protection. And, if you can find it, use sunscreen that contains antioxidants.
As the day goes on, you should also be sure to drink plenty of water. Over time, dehydration can cause wrinkles to form. Drink at least eight glasses of water a day to keep your body and skin healthy.
Night
When you’re planning your dinner in the evening, include some wrinkle-reducing foods in the meal. Consider having salmon—it’s high in omega-3 fatty acid, which helps bring moisture back to your skin. In your side dish, try to incorporate tomatoes. Tomatoes have lycopene, which protects skin from UV ray damage and helps improve your vascular system. You should also eat other leafy green vegetables that are high in vitamins, like broccoli and kale. For dessert, break out a bar of dark chocolate. Half of a small bar of dark chocolate will help prevent wrinkles caused by UV rays.
Before you go to bed, always wash off your makeup with lukewarm water. After patting your face dry, put on anti-aging cream. Then, be sure to get to bed nice and early—sleeping poorly and not sleeping enough can lead to fine lines and wrinkles.
It’s not hard to incorporate anti-aging foods and skincare products into your daily routine. If you’re tired of seeing fine lines on your face, just follow this daily routine.
